AITKEN TURNBULL BACK TEAM LEIGH FOR A SUCCESSFUL SEASON
We are delighted to be sponsoring the under 17’s Curling Team ‘Team Leigh’ again this season.
After the team’s success last year securing top female in their category this has given Jodi who is skip a plethora of skills and knowledge to take forward to this season. In addition to this, Jodi and one of the girls in the team have been selected for the Scottish Curling regional academy so will gain much more knowledge as the season progresses.
For the forthcoming season ‘Team Leigh’ will compete in all five under 17 events in Lockerbie, Perth, Forfar, Hamilton and Greenacres; in addition, they will complete in the Dumfries under 21s tournament and in the week long Scottish Junior Championships in Aberdeen. As well as this they will hold regular team training along with their academy training and respective club events.
It’s set to be a very busy season; we wish the Jodi and the team every success and look forward to following their progress.
