BRONZE FOR TEAM LEIGH AT SCOTTISH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022
As Team sponsors it was great to see Team Leigh kitted out in their new strip for the Scottish Junior Championships which kicked off bright and early last Tuesday morning.
The girls have been keeping us updated and they did very well over the week competing at a high standard against some very experienced teams who are at the top of the elite pathway. The team did enough through the week to earn themselves a place in the semi-finals. Unfortunately, they missed out on the opportunity to progress to the finals after a defeat by a very strong Team Mitchell who are a Scottish Curling National Academy team. Team Leigh finished the week 3rd overall in the women’s section which was a great result.
