JAMES IS PUT TO GOOD USE AT THE SCOTTISH BORDERS DONKEY SANCTUARY
James was the latest member of the team to use his company volunteering day. James spent the morning being put to good use at The Scottish Borders Donkey Sanctuary. Located at the 80-acre estate – The Holmes, St.Boswells, near Melrose, the sanctuary is a quick drive from our Galashiels studio.
Instead of his usual morning working on the technical side of some of our projects, James spent his time feeding the donkeys and the other four legged residents along with the less glamourous job of clearing out the stables.
The animals fortunate enough to be re-homed at the sanctuary are accommodated in small groups in permanent pastures and it’s not just donkeys that are lovingly looked after onsite, with a range of animals from ponies, llamas, goats and sheep.
We are delighted that James was able to help make a difference at such a worthy local cause within our community.
