We are delighted to announce four associate-level promotions within Aitken Turnbull: Callum Ford has been promoted to Associate & Technical Lead, Fraser Hunter and Gavin Fallen to Associate & Studio Leads, and Sebastian Mercer to Associate.
Callum has been a key part of our technical team for over 20 years working his way up to Senior Architectural Technician while gaining solid technical know-how and deep industry insight. In his new role, Callum will apply his expertise to drive technical quality and successful delivery across the board.
Fraser joined Aitken Turnbull 5 years ago in our Galashiels studio and quickly became a valued member of the team helping to deliver key projects across varying sectors. As Associate & Studio Lead, Fraser will oversee the Galashiels studio, helping guide team development and studio growth with his strong technical design ability and leadership.
Gavin has played a crucial role in the smooth running of our Edinburgh studio since he joined the team as Senior Architectural Designer 2 years ago. In his new position as Associate & Studio Lead, Gavin will take on wider leadership of the Edinburgh team, helping strengthen the studio’s operations and team culture while continuing to support delivery excellence.
Sebastian has shown consistent leadership and strong project management since joining Aitken Turnbull. We’re pleased to welcome him into the Associate group—a role that will give him even more opportunity to help shape project outcomes and contribute to the practice’s direction.
These promotions are a reflection of the commitment, talent, and leadership each of them brings to our practice. Collectively, they have played a vital role in strengthening our technical expertise, and mentoring colleagues across the business.
