Architectural Technician / Senior Technician

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician or Senior Technician to join our growing team, based in either our Galashiels or Edinburgh studio. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy, fast-paced practice with an expanding pipeline of work across multiple sectors.

The Role

Bring your technical expertise to the forefront and play a key role in transforming design concepts into deliverable, buildable solutions. You will be involved across all project stages, working closely with project teams, clients, and consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from a technical perspective
• Acting in a client-facing role
• Producing high-quality technical drawings, detailing, and specifications
• Developing and coordinating Revit models
• Supporting delivery within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment

You will be a technically strong and motivated professional with the confidence to take ownership of projects and contribute positively to team delivery.

Requirements

• Relevant degree and professional qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years’ industry experience
• Excellent technical ability and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience in a client-facing role and acting as a project lead
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desirable

• Experience within commercial and/or fit-out projects
