Job Title:  Social Media & Marketing Assistant

 

Full-time – based in our Edinburgh or Galashiels Studio

We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Social Media &  Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have a year of experience under your belt, we’re looking for someone enthusiastic to contribute to our growing success.

 

Role:

  • Creating engaging social media content.
  • Assisting the Comms & Marketing Manager in implementing our marketing strategy.
  • Utilising data and insights for monthly reporting.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date marketing calendar.
  • Adhering to brand guidelines for both internal and external content.
  • Engaging with customers on social channels.
  • Scheduling content and story posting across all platforms.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends.
  • Updating website content.
  • Assisting in the creation of corporate documentation while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Assisting with the organisation and running of corporate events.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of our annual marketing calendar.
  • Collaborating closely with the Comms & Marketing Manager and the wider team to ensure timely delivery of marketing activities and projects, aligned with brief objectives.
  • Aiding in the creation of a content strategy aimed at maximizing engagement.
  • Proof reading and editing content to ensure grammar, clarity, and SEO best practices.
  • Generating creative and compelling content across various platforms, including social media, websites, emails, and more.
  • Creating both electronic and hardcopy documents while maintaining visual appeal and brand consistency.

 

Requirements: 

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role or relevant qualification.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent copywriting abilities.
  • A passion for and understanding of social media and marketing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Canva & Adobe
