Job Title: Architectural Technician
Location: Scotland – please note applicants will be considered for either our Edinburgh or Galashiels studios.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Technician with 3-5 years experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our projects, providing technical expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction phases.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development of architectural projects from concept through to completion.
- Produce detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on technical matters.
- Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural design and drafting, with a focus on residential/commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Membership of a relevant professional body is a plus.
